I believe that it is a thunking DLL that converts 32-bit WINSOCK calls
into 16-bit WINSOCK calls.

I set "dump memory blocks=yes" and it made Mosaic 2 v4 much faster. Can

There are at least two books with a SLIP/PPP version of Chameleon for
Windows. "The Internet Unleashed" from SAMS Publications and "Windows
Internet Tour Guide" by Michael Fraase from Ventana Press. "The Internet
Unleashed" is one of the most comprehensive books on the Internet
currently available. It is around $45.00. "Windows Internet Tour Guide"
is very basic but only runs around $20.00. There are DOS and Mac versions
of the book and software, too, for the same price.
