  30. I believe that it is a thunking DLL that converts 32-bit WINSOCK calls 
  31. into  16-bit WINSOCK calls.

  83. There are at least two books with a SLIP/PPP version of Chameleon for
  84. Windows.  "The Internet Unleashed" from SAMS Publications and "Windows
  85. Internet Tour Guide" by Michael Fraase from Ventana Press.  "The Internet
  86. Unleashed" is one of the most comprehensive books on the Internet
  87. currently available.  It is around $45.00.  "Windows Internet Tour Guide"
  88. is very basic but only runs around $20.00.  There are DOS and Mac versions
  89. of the book and software, too, for the same price.
